Benskins' repertoire included Fleetwood, Failsworth,  Preston Royal, Royton, Horbury Rushcart and Shevington Moor.  The side also created its own dances such as Hunton Bridge named after a local area.

These exciting and vibrant dances are fascinating to watch, satisfying and fun to dance and provide a great introduction to this English traditional dance form.

The side has devised new dances using the traditional steps of the North West style.  We have continued the tradition of naming the dances after places.  One of them is called Hunton Bridge after an area near to Abbots Langley – it probably sounds more romantic to people in Yorkshire!

After 18 great years continuing the finest traditions of North West Clog Morris, Benskins Morris is hanging up its clogs and retiring.  It's been a very enjoyable 18 years but regretably age has caught up with us. We want to extend a big Thank You to all the sides we have danced with over the years.  So long....
