I come from a family of practising herbalists
and have practised herbalism from an early age. Although I have
an extensive knowledge of herbs from all over the world, I prefer
to use mainly herbs which are local to the patients I treat, as
I believe that they have a 'symbiosis' with their own environment.
I qualified as a medical herbalist (Diploma in Botano Therapy)
with the International Register of Consultant Herbalists and Homeopaths
in Swansea. This five year training included a comprehensive study
of Diet & Nutrition, and also Naturopathy. All members have
to conform to the strict code of ethics required by the IRCH.
I am a member of the Unified Register of Herbal Practitioners, the British Herbal Medicine
Association and also the Natural Medicines Society.
My study and practice of Hatha Yoga enables me to offer remedial
techniques to patients for relaxation-breathing and simple structural
problems (stiff neck, joints etc) as well as Reflexology and,
Iridology diagnosis (examination of the iris).
Patients can be assured of a truly holistic treatment based on
my extensive knowledge and experience.
