Joolz the wonder woman, bites into the undergrowth of fashion and explores her peculiarities with her habitually devastating form of self-deprecation and everyone else deprecation!

On her own style: "I always wear black `cos you don't have to wash it so often. I make 80% of my clothes anyhow so I'm usually more concerned with what's easiest to drag through the aged Singer."

On other style: "Yuk, yuk to those ghastly baggy, androgynous monstrosities in a thousand shades of grey sported by Lunnon boys and gels round Camden Market and that Hideous head-wrapped in a dishcloth look."

On penis envy: "I always imagine it's something ineffectual little lads like to try to insult strong-minded women with; an attempt at a put down: `You just want to be a bloke anyhow, yah, yah, yah`..Who wants a dick when it makes so many of them dickheads?"

On fashion : "I object to commercial interest's cynical manipulation of youth (and older) into thinking if it's not worth having..."

On men in dresses: "Darling, I adore drag and I always have fond memories of Adam Ant in cute little black overkilt but it never works in daylight..."

On the `New Man`: "The new sacred cow more like. I mean us poor little girls weren't allowed to say horrid things about chaps before the new man appeared but I don't see anything different with these delicate flowers. I like honesty, pride, face, sensuality, beauty, love, lust, kindness and a good giggle. I couldn't give a toss whether the man in question is new or old! If they f*** me about, they don't get f*****, get it?

On her clothes: "My clothes mean an expression of my bad sewing on me..."
