When I started to follow NMA back in 84 there was a core of about 10 who went to nearly every gig, 30 turned up at gigs at different times. At that time most of the fans were mainly from all around Britain, now as you know they are from all around the world.

Most of the time the band would get us all on the guest list, with the exception of London, as the record companies would take the list up. The band looked after us, if we couldn't find anywhere to sleep for the night, they'd put us up over night at their houses,
