The first to follow the army were the Midland militia, among them were Reev, Nik, Rik, Biffo, Gavin, Rob, Haze & Trina
The crew I went with were Rondy, Jamie, Lyn and my self Biffer. Later on Diane, who is now my wife.
We'd travelled around in a Triumph Dolomite which Jamie & Lyn owned, if they couldn't get us there we would make our own way. Later on Rev. Hammer came with us to Rotterdam. He'd never seen them before that occasion and after a few gigs he got on really well with Justin and the band, and ended up doing musical projects with them.

Gigs that stand out in my mind!
There's been a few over the years of 84/85. I'd seen them well over a hundred times. Every time the intro. music came on the whole venue would come alive. The music was the most important thing of all; however, those that come to mind were the ones when something unusual happened. At one of Portmouths night clubs, Granny's, the locals didn't take to us and just as the band came on all hell let loose. There were fists flying everywhere, the bongo player in the support band (Elarebop) had a broken ankle and I think it was the singer who grabbed his crutch (walking stick not his bollocks) and started swinging it into the crowd. The band had to stop and wait until it all calmed down before they would play again. All that night, the dancing was very violent.
