INTRO

We started like anyone else starts - we could play a little,
Write a little with a kind of desperation that smalltown
England breeds. Getting gigs was difficult. We argued a
Lot. A handful of people stuck by us - thank you Joolz and
Willi. Drummers came and went. Robb came and was persuaded
to stay. We got the chance to go to London. We got press,
we got an agent (later our Manager), we got told to piss
off by the record companies. We played to twelve people,
then 40 then 200. We made a single, then another, then
an L.P. The press loved us. Then they hated us. We got
a driver, a set of new guitar strings and the best following
in England. We ate a lot of motorway food. People wrote
to us. We lost Stuart and found Moose. Dreams came true
but that only made us dream more.

So this tour is our 6th and an attempt to do things different.
Instead of the usual array of often uninteresting buy-on
Support groups, this time we are supporting our supports,
Because more than any other acts in the country we believe
and share in what they are creating.
LOVE NEW MODEL ARMY
