MADCC renews its “Top Community Club” and Sport England “Club Mark” Status awards

In January 2009, MADCC’s Top Community Club and Clubmark status was succesfully renewed for a further three years.

Sport England’s “Club Mark” recognises sports clubs which are committed to providing a safe, effective and child friendly environment. The award was introduced to ensure that good practice runs through the club’s activities and it enables parents to recognise an accredited club through the “Club Mark” branding.

Canoe England’s “Top Club” builds on “Club Mark”. It recognises that the club is active in a range of paddlesport activities, and offers more to its members, to paddlesport, and to the community.
