Drawing, painting and sculpting at Westcourt Bottom
Make up a party of up to six friends and spend time drawing, painting or sculpting in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. Non painting partners very welcome.
Based at Westcourt Bottom with two well equipped studios and access to stunning landscapes, Bill's tuition will help the beginner and the more experienced focus and improve their abilities.
Art lessons can be designed to fit the time available or your own particular interest, however the six most popular classes and approx. times are:-
| 1. Improve your drawing | Eyelines, perspective, depth/distance through tone and detail. Adding life and sparkle to your work. 5 hours |
| 2. Landscape in acrylics | Composition, blocking in, colour and depth in this great flexible medium. 5 hours |
| 3. Portrait in pastels | Transferring / enlarging the image, mixing and blending colour. 5 hours |
| 4. Paint an "Old Master" in a day | Using a mixture of body colour and thin glaze to create effects used in the rennaisance. 5 hours. |
| 5. Draw / Paint the female nude | The most satisfying subject in whichever medium. 2 hours. (an additional charge of £ 12.50 per hour for the model is shared beween students) |
| 6. Watercolours | Basic techniques and keeping the sparkle and freshness. 5 hours |
Individual tuition £ 8 per hour. Groups of 2 - 6 people £ 4 per person per hour
