This year we celebrate our 40th anniversary of trading locally
When I commenced trading in 1966 we specialized in timber decay/infestation control. To do that it was necessary to arrest all forms of damp so we took that on board - Roofing and Damproofing - finding as we did we could not rely on outside contractors. Often true dry rot (Serpula lacrymans) and damproofing works are sufficiently disruptive to make some major refurbishment essential. We have all the necessary tradesmen to undertake those works. Those specialities have become items we now attend as an important part of our works. Our trade professionals carry out surveys and estimates for roofing and refurbishment etc.
The Institute Of Wood Science is the most prestigious of the timber related professional bodies. Membership is an excellent indication of the standing of a company allowed to incorporate the logo.
Since our inauguration we have been involved in major contracts including, Mereworth Castle. The United Arab Emirates Embassy, The International Language School, Dylon International Plc and so on. Locally we undertook the recover of their Grade II listed Chapel at The Prestigious Blackheath Prep School, several Churches, the installation of damproof courses to all of many old Morden College tenanted properties. We treated an estate of Dover Council Houses.
Some "specialist companies" often mistakenly appearing honourable concerns by the size of the company and their pretentious web sites have flawed the integrity of the profession. Some of these are now involved in the practice of attracting business offering valuable incentives to Estate Agents etc. Generous commissions motivate their "Surveyors". Not a very professional approach I would suggest.

Only some of our surveys/estimates are free, such as roofing or refurbishment and some timber/damp surveys. We can design you new kitchen and bathroom free. A small cost is involved when a professional surveyor, ours are not on commission, is required for investigative works. For that you will get an honest appraisal and if there is no problem you will be advised and our Surveyors time covered.
