A larger version of the ring & chain butterfly again using a helper thread to aid that final join
Uses picot gauges and both up & down of joins… 

#20 thread shuttle & 1/2 yard tail
Gauges 1/2”, 3/4” & 1”

Top right wing     R1: 12 - 3 -- 3 - 8 vsp 4 clr RW
Lay in helper thread with loop end facing to the front of work
      Ch: 3 vsp 3 RW

Lower right wing    R2: 4 + (R1) 6 - 10 clr RW
      Ch: 2 vsp 4 RW

Tail     R3: 3 - 3 clr RW
      Ch: 4 + (adj R) 2 RW

Lower left wing    R4: 10 - 6 vsp 4 clr RW
      Ch: 3 + (adj Ch) 3 RW

Top left wing     R5: 4 + (R4) 8 - 3 -- 3 - 12 clr RW    

Head     R6: 8 --- 4 --- 8 clr
Use 1” gauge upright for antennae
Pull tail through at base of R1 with helper loop. Tie, glue & trim close
Knot antennae
