Setting Discrim With Block Edit! To save any adjustments made in Discrim Edit they must be done in a Custom Program. To edit Discrim from the detector Off position, first press the On button once, then wait and let
the detector go through the Whites and Battery Check screens, into the Main menu PG. 1/1 screen with flashing arrow opposite Preset
Programs. Press the Enter button once to bring up the screen showing Programs PG. 1/3 with flashing arrow opposite Coins. Press the
Down Arrow three times to bring up the screen showing Programs PG. 2/3 with flashing arrow opposite Relic. Press the Down Arrow
button between two and five times, to move the flashing arrow opposite Custom or Basic 1, 2, 3, or 4, if installed. Press the Enter button
once to bring up the screen showing C.P. Options PG. 1/1 with flashing arrow opposite Load. Press the Enter button once to bring up the
Ground Balance instruction-screen. Press the Menu button twice to bring up the screen showing Main menu PG. 1/1 with flashing arrow
opposite Preset Programs. Press the Down Arrow button twice to move the flashing arrow opposite Pro Options. Press the Enter button
once to bring up the screen showing Pro Options PG. 1/2 with flashing arrow opposite Audio. Press the Down Arrow button twice to move
the flashing arrow opposite Discrimination. Now move to the next paragraph for the second part of single edit, or skip a paragraph to go to the second part of block edit.
Press the Down Arrow button once to bring up the screen with Block Edit boxed. Press the Enter button once to move the box
around the numbers. Then, to adjust Discrim using this facility, press the Down Arrow button and hold it down to scroll through the
numbers until -95 is displayed. If the tick is in the Accept box, press the Enter button once to move it to the Reject box. If the tick is in the
Reject box, just press the Up Arrow button and hold it down to scroll back through the numbers until -40 is displayed. Press the Enter
button once to move the tick to the Accept box. Press the Up Arrow button and hold it down to continue scrolling through the numbers
until -2 is displayed. Press the Enter button once to move the tick to the Reject box. Press the Up Arrow button and hold it down, to
continue scrolling through the numbers until +10, is displayed. Press the Enter button once to move the tick to the Accept box.
Press the Up Arrow button and hold it down to continue scrolling through the numbers until +95, is displayed. Press the Enter button
once, to move the tick to the Reject box. The Discrimination circuitry on your XLT will now Reject all the numbers
