Basic Adjustments Explained *****

QUESTION: When do I adjust Backlight?

ANSWER: On site on dull days, or any time you experience difficulty reading the Screen, there will be some battery drain when set at 1, with even greater drain when using the higher numbers. This facility works the same in the Eagle Spectrum, XLT, and DFX Detectors.

QUESTION:  When do I adjust Viewing Angle?

ANSWER: On site according to visibility conditions and the brightness of the sun, what sun I hear you say, don't worry, keep looking, you'll know it when it arrives It's a big yellow ball in the sky. Adjust up and down until you find the best setting that enables you to read the screen.  This facility works the same in the Eagle Spectrum, XLT and DFX Detectors.
