At the time of the 1891 census Hilda lived at The Grove, Norton, Stockton-on-Tees, Co.Durham
The picture below - probably taken around 1893 - shows Hilda (centre) flanked by her sisters Beatrice (left) and Maud.
The church magazine showed that Hilda was buried on 6th July 1896 at St. Mary's Church, Norton (as was her sister Margaret who had died in 1891, although somewhat surprisingly no Ellertons are recorded in the Norton MI's).
