He was not mentioned in his father's will of October 1772 and had, presumably, already died by this time. Three Christophers are shown in the National Burial Index - (1) buried on 4/10/1761 at St Mary, Bolton-on-Swale; (2) buried on 19/10/1770 at St Anne, Catterick; (3) aged 78, buried on 7/12/1832 at St Anne, Catterick
According to a letter written by his nephew Edward in 1857, Christopher " ... died in London, also a Bachelor".
