The PR's for Easby (1 mile east of Richmond) show a marriage on 13th March 1714 between "William Barker, Brumpton, and Elizabeth Ellerton, West Wilton". Another marriage on 13th September 1735 shows: "Thomas Hall of West Wilton and Elizabeth Ellerton, ditto, License".
Elizabeth's father was a freeholder at West Witton (4m SW of Leyburn) and when his will was proved at Leeds in 1736 she was bequethed specific items of furniture and household goods.
