March 2004 - added various "Ellerton Trees" to the site, and deleted the GedHTree schematic trees which I felt were not really that useful.
April 2004 - after 5 months I completed the transcription of "interesting" Ellerton entries in The Times Digital Archive for 1785-1899. Watch this space for news of the 1900-1985 transcription! (I also transcribed the mentions of Rudd Hall - residence of the Ellerton family for many years).

August 2005 - added details of numerous pre-1858 wills
Oct/Nov/Dec 2005 - updated the 1861, 1871, and 1891 Census pages for "Yorkshire residents" (and added "Yorkshire Strays & Durham" pages) to show all Ellertons satisfying one of those criteria.

June 2006 - created "The Ellerton Forum", where researchers are invited to leave a brief resumé of their research interests for others to read (and reply to). Please add a brief message now!!

September 2006 - after several months' work I have now updated and extended the BMD data to cover 1837-1911, and added numerous notes to indicate parents/spouses names and the relevant "Ellerton tree" for most of the Yorkshire-related entries.
