Rochdale 1 City 1

A pattern is emerging in Cardiff's season. Blackpool equalised in the final minute at Ninian Park, City equalised at Barnet in the final minute. Barnet threw away a two goal lead against us, we threw away a two goal lead against Southend.
Perhaps Cardiff should have lost 5-0 at Rochdale on Saturday? Anything to ensure a home win. The way things are going expect a late City equaliser in the next match.

The draw came courtesy of a Mark Walton error. Walton has been less than impressive in the opening matches of the season. Surely it's time for Jon Hallworth to be given another chance to claim the spot between the sticks.
Gould and Ayre have been unlucky with injuries to Boland and now Brayson and Gould is working hard to attract players to the club. He succeeded with Scot McCulloch but has apparently failed with Andy Marriot and Fortune West. Perhaps Gould's reputation in the game is lower than he (or Hamman) believe it to be or players see him as difficult to work with. High profile bust-ups with Robbie Savage and Nathan Blake have seen to that.

The fact remains that Gould needs a high profile successful transfer to kick-start City's season. Although City are unbeaten eight precious points have been squandered already.
Sam Hamman's initial optimism is already fading as the timetable for turning the club round has increased from five years to twenty.
