GEC BT9121 12" TV (1938)
The GEC BT9121 is a very rare 12" set with an electrostatically scanned tube. The tube in this set had a larger deflection angle than other electrostatically scanned tubes of the time. In order to achive the very high voltages required for the tube plates the set used KT66 valves for the time-base outputs which drove step-up transformers.
A new cabinet is currently being made for this set, after this the electrical restoration will start.
