MARCONI 702 TELEVISION (1936)

The MARCONI 702 was a 12" mirror lid TV. It used magnetic deflection and electrostatic focusing. The set was also available in a different cabinet under the HMV brand.

David Boynes has restored this set from being a pile of junk found in a garden, to a condition that is as good as new. Among the problems faced were obtaining an original tube and replacing the line output transformer (both were missing). The set now works perfectly.
