01 (Faur 24601/82) out of use near the loco shed. This is a
Romanian-built copy of a Polish design.

This looks like an American geared logging engine, but in fact is a
mobile boiler. The coaches that were used on the passenger train were
steam-heated, but after the line was dieselized in 1977 it was
necessary to attach this object to the trains in winter to provide
heat. It is was rebuilt in the 1980's from 0-8-0T No.12F (Resita
1019/57), which had part of its frames cut away and then was mounted
on freight wagon bogies.
