The shower-cap has been designed by elemental to fit quickly and securely over the windcreen and the rollover bar. The carefully tailored design compliments the lines of the VX220 and fits neatly across the entire windscreen. The cover therefore offers protection against damage by direct sunlight to the car interior. Where the car may be left outdoors in the winter, the shower-cap will fit over the hood and prevent frost forming on the windscreen. Several owners have used the shower-cap over their hood to guard against leakage around the window.

1. Slide the wedge in between screen and front service compartment 2. Secure the two mirror fixings 3. Lift the windscreen wiper blade over the sewn-in rib

4. Use the aerial loop to centre the rear of the cover. 5. Fold the tabs under the roll-over bar cover using the velcro fixings. ** When positioning the shower-cap for the first time it is necessary to fix the 'hooked' velcro tape pieces in position under the roll-over bar cover. For this purpose it is recommended the pieces are left attached to the sewn-in velcro strip on the cover. Peel off the paper from the adhesive and apply on a clean dry surface one at a time. Fit the velcro pieces lengthways (ie. at 90 degrees to the sewn in velcro on the cover). This will allow adjustment when fitting the shower-cap with or without the hood in place.

The elemental shower-cap is designed only as a temporary provision.

Where the car is to be left out in variable weather conditions for any length of time, then the hood should always be fitted.

The shower-cap can be fitted over the hood to prevent rain leaking in between the hood and the junction of the side window and windscreen

The shower-cap will also prevent ice forming on the windscreen in winter or soiling of the hood if the car has to be parked under trees.

The shower-cap should be handwashed and should not be placed in a tumbledryer.
