Contributions for the magazine are received from various organizations in the village and then there is an editorial meeting at the start of the month when information is correlated. The regular contributors are :- The Lunchtime Discussion Group, The Monday Club, The Youth Group and on page seve a regular comment fir which there is a list of six contributors, and this article is usually thought provoking.

History

The Wrawby News started life in 1994 as the Wrawby Church and Community News. Rev. John Cole and the PCC decided to alter the village "church magazine" and produce a village magazine. There had been a church magazine for St. Mary's C of E Church in Wrawby, which had been available to the parishioners on payment of and annual subscription but there was a very poor uptake in the village.

John felt that he would like to produce a magazine for the whole village to be delivered to every house free of charge. He enlisted the help of Alan Brown of A18 computers in Brigg, to help him produce the first few editions on his home PC. The cost of printing for the magazine was met by advertising along the bottom of each page.

John went on to edit 41 editions of the C&C News. Then in 1997 he decided that he would like to step down as editor and producer of the magazine. Richard Rooker and Andrew Whitaker expressed an interest in co editing the magazine and so from that time the magazine has been co produced. Richard and Andrew now take turns to edit the magazines on a monthly basis.
