The Hellenic Dance Group has been in existence for approximately 20 years with a current membership of 13.
We meet every Monday from 8pm to 10pm in a hall near Surbiton which is near Kingston in Surrey.
We give performances in traditional Greek costume for both Greek and English charitable events, fund-raising events, residential homes for the elderly, day centres, etc.
We have an extensive repertoire of over 100 dances from all parts of Greece.
We also produce a magazine "The Grapevine" twice a year. Our next issue will be issued in the New Year, containing articles, anecdotes, holiday reports, recipes, and all things Greek! This is Edited by our Secretary, Rita.
