YES! Bungee jumping is totally safe if you jump with a professional crew. Natural High Bungee has been operating commercially since 1991 and founded the Standards Association for British Bungee (S.A.B.B.) in 1992. Our standards have been widely acknowledged by the British Health and Safety Executive and many other Government Safety Bodies including New Zealand, Canada, Spain, Bermuda, Iceland and the United States. Natural High Bungee is now responsible for over 70,000 incident free jumps.

Natural High Bungee equipment must have a minimun Factor of Safety of 5. In other words, the equipment must be capable of carrying a minimum of five times more than the maximum allowable load. Typically the safety factors are much higher than 5. For example the minimum breaking load on a Bungee Harness is 2 Tonnes. To further increase safety factors, each component of the Bungee connection system is coupled with a safety back up connection.

Operational Procedure

Because we at Natural High Bungee take safety so seriously, we recognise that there is the potential for human error. Our proven system employs a triple check system by a specially trained crew. Every component of the Bungee rigging is triple checked prior to every single jump. Our standard operating procedure, which is never deviated from, ensures that any mistake is very quickly picked up well before final checks at the jump point.

Our system works - we have proved that over the last 7 years with a perfect safety record.
