Job Shadowing Cynllun Ymwybyddiaeth Gwaith the Roland Williams Job Shadowing Scheme Aims Ř Share and update knowledge relating to special needs dental care Ř Stimulate analysis of working practices Ř Support all staff in all disciplines to develop special care skills Ř Foster dental networks’ between special care dental services across Wales It rotates between dentists, therapists, hygienists, nurses and oral health promotion advisers. How does it work… Two to three ‘shadowers’ are selected from applicants each year, with placement usually in spring/early summer. Bursaries are awarded to participants, and traveling /accommodation expenses are covered by the individual Trusts. Modules include……………Care in the Community, Care of the Elderly, General Anaesthesia, Mental Health Problems, Physical Disability, Learning Disabilities, The Anxious patient , The Medically Compromised.
