Burntisland Golf Club is situated in the Kingdom of Fife – traditionally acclaimed as the "Home of Golf" – the Club now plays over Dodhead Links, which overlooks the town, on the B923, just off the A912.

Fife boasts a total of 43 golf courses, ranging from traditional links through tree lined parkland to some of the most recently laid out greens and fairways in Scotland, all within an hour's drive of each other. St Andrews, the home of golf is only 30 miles away, whilst Edinburgh is only short drive or train journey away across the world-famous Forth Bridges.
