It is always a great pleasure to be with you. We give to you hopefully an upliftment of spirit, some answers to your questions and at least a little better understanding. All too often life on earth and life in the spirit world are considered to be separate existences. Whereas in fact all life is one life. The only difference being between us and you, that you are still hampered by the clothing of a physical body. The change from earth life to life in the world of spirit is merely a shedding of this physical garment and a freedom to learn, to use your time as you will. You are not hampered by being chained as you are upon earth, to a daily routine, to the necessity to work to a schedule. Here time does not exist and therefore we are free to spend what you call time upon the things which to us, unlike you in the material world is a necessary part of the physical experience, but here the necessity to earn a living, to feed, to clothe oneself, is no longer there. And freed from these burdens one is at liberty to explore one's own potential, to go further and further along the road of spiritual development. Free to mix with each other, free to learn as we tend not to do when upon earth. Life upon earth becomes insular, we turn in upon ourselves, upon our own small circle of friends or relatives, without realizing that we ourselves - an be it unconsciously - are involved in the wider issues of this earth plane.Today upon earth you have a greater facility to learn of other nations, of wider events, but too often you will look and hear about events in other lands, saying either how wonderful or how terrible and then dismissing them entirely from your mind. Or perhaps fleetingly throughout your day remembering and pitying. But, my friends, what affects those in other lands, affects you also. You are involved in life upon earth; you cannot separate yourselves from each other, for you are part of the family of mankind. A part of that wider family; created life upon earth. Therefore whatever affects another, affects in some way yourselves. The Spirit of God is not unique to this earth, is not here for one nation. It is the Spirit of Light which has given life to each and every one of you. God, is not the god of one nation but of the whole earth, of the whole universe. Today there are many upon earth who conflict with each other, who terrorize, who torture, but this is not merely a modern phenomena, this has been going on for centuries. Man unfortunately fights not only for existence but for material gain; fights to impose his will, his belief upon others. There is within man, an inborn desire to dominate,' the need to feel power. Those among you who are closer to the God Spirit, those who seek the spiritual pathway, have this desire under control. You have realized that the pathway to God is a pathway of humility. That power, that material gain is a corruptive power, a corruptive force.
We do not suggest in this modern age that you divest yourself of all material goods, of all material wealth, and walk barefoot throughout your land. But what we do say to you, in the name of the God Spirit; give of yourselves to each other, let pity stir within you for those unfortunates who live their lives in poverty, knowing not merely hunger but starvation, not merely physical starvation but often starvation of the spirit also. Your love, your concern reaches out to them, uplifting them, even though it may not be consciously. You can help, you can be involved in your brother man. And let your thoughts reach out, not only to those who are suffering but to those who inflict pain, to those who are so sick in spirit, that they care not for the lives or the suffering of others. Those who terrorize, who cause injury without thought, and if they were honest, without any reason. They perhaps my friends require your help and your pity even more than their victims. It would seem to many of you that this earth is enveloped in a cloud of darkness, that evil walks freely and unchecked upon the face of earth; this is not so. We upon this side of life cannot perhaps prevent the evils which man inflicts upon himself because no matter how mean spirited and ignorant a being may be, yet still they have the privilege of freewill. We can however, seek to shed light within the minds and souls of those who will hear us and who in turn may bring to bear their influence wherever possible upon others whom they may contact upon earth.
The power of thought, the positive power of thought, is far greater than you know. You will say, yes we hear this many times, and I tell you this again that you cannot - because your eyes see only in a physical way - measure the result of your positive thoughts. Any more, perhaps, than you can understand the damage that negativity can cause. Seek to understand yourselves, seek to' understand the will of the God Spirit, to be aware of your reason for being upon earth, to be aware of the divinity within yourselves. To be determined, to nurture that part of you which is the God Spirit, so that your lives, your time upon earth may bear fruit. That you may indeed contribute towards bringing the kingdom of God to be manifest upon this earth plane. This kingdom, which indeed is existing within yourselves. It is not something to which you look forward, it is brought about by the love of the God Spirit. It is the tranquillity which you feel when still, when at peace, when meditating. It is the mark of the love that you have for each other. Once man fully realizes the spirituality within him., once he, develops fully in understanding, compassion and tolerance; when this is apparent, not only within the few who have already found knowledge and seek wisdom, but within every living being upon this earth, then the light which comes from earth will be seen afar off.
You must come to understand, to perfect the part of you which is spirit, to bring about, not for a few but for all, this love of the God Spirit, which makes manifest, the power, the glory, the love which will make for all men this earth a place of peace, a utopia, in which to dwell unafraid knowing that God walks with each and every one of you, and that in this you all are akin. There is no difference of colour, of creed, of nation, all are the children of the God Spirit. It is a message which we repeatedly bring to you, a message which has come down throughout the ages. All the great teachers, the messengers of God have spoken of this unity. That there is not many, but one God, one; one supreme being.
My friends, the power of love, the spirit of life, the light of the world are one formless being, which surrounds and penetrates and lives in and through all that lives upon earth. Try then to live your lives with this wider understanding, this realization that the earth is yours, but that it is your brothers also. Do not stand aside in your own little space but spread your wings and join creation. Be a part of life, enjoy your time upon earth, but look forward without fear to your release from the physical and your greater understanding, your greater freedom in the next sphere of existence - the spirit world.
Corn-circles - Are They Fakes?
Question: Can you tell us something about corn-circles. Are they fakes? [ See also Chapter 8].
They are not all fakes, although as with all phenomena there are always those that are. They are caused - the genuine ones - by the devas who care for the plant life. Do you understand? Devas, yes. Devas. And there is a message within the not from other planets as many have thought, but from those who care for botanical life. The message basically, is to try to make men see what they are doing to earth. They are using distorted seed - the devas - do you understand me? to form these circles. And it is a reflection of the distortion which man has created within the balance of nature upon earth. They are trying to make men understand, and I feel that the messages will become plainer, not only in this way but throughout the rest of nature also. The devas who care for creation are concerned about your environment, about what man has done to the environment, and this is the reason for the circles in corn.
Electronic Devices
Question: I am a member of an association trying to elicit voices from the dead by means of electronic devices. We have had voices. Question, are we fooling ourselves, do these voices come from our own subconscious minds, or do some of these voices come from the so-called dead.
No my brother you are not fooling yourselves, and you are not alone in this work, in this experiment. In the other side of this earth in what used to be the united states of Russia, do you understand me? There are many there, who because of their experience in outer space, have become convinced not only that there are beings upon other planets, but also that there is our world, do you understand? That we do exist beyond what you call death, and they are making quite interesting progress. There are those upon this side of life also who are seeking in turn to perfect a way of communicating without a medium, and as you say, through instruments. Did you understand me? You will of course pick-up also, some of the - shall we say - straying sound-waves coming from earth. Do you follow? But as you progress, and as you perfect your instruments then you will be able very clearly to distinguish what comes from physical earth and what comes from spiritual earth. And again from this, maybe not in your lifetime, that there will come a wider field, so that you will be able to receive messages and speech, not merely from our world of spirit but from the spirit worlds and the physical worlds upon other planets.
There is so much throughout the universe which man has yet to discover; its vastness is incredible. And there is so much to learn. What we do hope here is that this time, man will use the knowledge gained with care and wisely. Too often that which has been discovered has been wrongly used, used for destruction rather than for benefit. This you must remember will be able to receive from all in the world of spirit. Do you understand me? Therefore when you listen, when you commence, always just as you should at a seance, ask first that you be protected from that which is dark, both upon earth and upon our side of life. Because your instrument will be as a medium, able to receive from all waves of thought. Do you understand me? It must be controlled by your motives and by your desire, and you must be critical. You must not accept all that you hear; if it does not seem logical and right to you whether it comes from spirit or from a physical being, then question, always question. Never blindly accept what you hear. That is the way to learn and that is the way to progress. And those who are genuine, those who are of the light will never object to being questioned.
Why Reincarnation?
Question: Does reincarnation exist and if so why. [See also Chapter 4].
Yes, It does my brother. This is a subject which is often spoken of. What I would say to you is this: reincarnation is fact and not fiction. It is a way which some of us choose by which to progress. It is not however compulsory, you are not upon a continuous wheel of life. It is, I feel, the best and surest way of progressing, it is a way of testing one's own knowledge and one's own progress. Every time you come to earth, you come either to learn or to teach or to fulfil a task undertaken in the service of the God Spirit. Some return to prove to themselves and to others within their group that they have learned a lesson well, which previously they had some difficulty; prove that they had overcome an obstacle which lay in their path.
Some will come back deliberately to a difficult or a painful life in order that they may gain a greater understanding of the suffering or the unhappiness of others, and therefore be able to say: I know, because I too have been there, I too have suffered. There are many reasons for returning to earth and it is up to every individual to decide, if and when and where and how they will return. There is always here advice and help; advice to help you choose the right environment for your own purpose. The right parents, the right nation; but again the final choice is your own. Some choose only once to come to earth, others many many times. I would say that the majority of people do choose to progress through reincarnation.
Many upon earth do not fully understand their own present circumstances. They, may bemoan their position in life, and if they took the trouble or had the inclination to regress, to look backwards into what has gone before of their life, often the answer would be found. You do not come back to earth as a punishment, but very often one who had been cruel or thoughtless in a previous incarnation, will choose of themselves to come back in typical circumstances, in order they feel to atone. Your life, your lives must be brought into balance, but how long that takes and how you reach that goal, must be decided by you.
We did some years ago - some of you may recall - have a gentleman who came and questioned, not me, but my brother Marcus. A gentleman who's skin was black, and said - questioned that man had freewill: 'for I would never have come back as a black man'. But you did, you chose it said Marcus. What he could not say at a public meeting was the reason for this man's choice, and the reason was that many years ago in a previous existence he had been a slave trader. He had inflicted suffering and death, and he had chosen to come back, and to come back where he would be racially abused, because he felt that only thus could he expiate his previous deeds. But I would emphasize that that decision was his; he was not sent here as a punishment. The whole of your life or lives is a journey, a journey towards perfect understanding, towards spiritual at-one-ment with each other, and with the God Spirit; but how you reach that goal, you must decide. We can help, there are always for those who ask, others who will answer; but still the freedom of will is yours.
Earth's First Inhabitants
[Question: Who or what were the first inhabitants of the earth].
The first inhabitants, my sister were single cells of life and gradually - as you must know - these cells split and joined, expanded and from these most primitive life forms evolved, the reptiles, the mammals which you see today about you. As earth grew older, the creatures and the life upon it evolved into more and more complicated patterns. That man is now the dominant creature, is just a fluke of evolution. Man learned to walk upright, to use hands, to make jewels. But among many in the animal kingdom, among the sea creatures, there are beings who, had their evolution expanded before yours, could have dominated earth just as you do. When you speak of inhabitants, always - we when upon earth also - tend to think of human souls, do we not? You know, because you have heard many times [from] those who come to speak, that man gave to the life force a form. Man created his own image of God. All too often that god became a warrior, because those who created him or her were warlike in themselves. It was primitive man who gave form to the Spirit of Life, because he could see nothing higher than himself. It was of necessity an image of himself. The Spirit of Life is formless, but it was that Spirit that first walked the earth, as you put it, that Spirit which breathed life into what was merely matter.
Early man was a fearsome being, both fearsome and fearful, for the world in which he dwelt was a world of savages; it was the beginning. Man, because in fact compared to the creatures among which he dwelt, he was a puny creature, frail and without strength. Man then devised weapons in order that he may equal the animals. For man through his power of reason, through his ability to create weapons and therefore to dominate those of lesser intelligence, has become the greatest predator the earth has ever known. A creature who without thought has been destroying the very earth upon which he dwells. But gradually from those savage beginnings, we are now beginning to realize the wider implications of this abuse of earth. Man will become a creature of wisdom at last, a gentler, more peaceful being, learning to live not only at one with each other but with all and all that dwells upon it. [Earth].
Creatures of Darkness
Question: Can creatures or spirits from the darker side of life harm us.
No my sister. We have repeatedly told you people upon earth, and I repeat now, there is nothing upon the earth or in the world of spirit which can in any way affect or harm you unless you allow it to do so. If you say, I am protected, I am a creature of light and those that dwell in darkness, those that spew out evil towards me, those who hate and curse me, cannot affect me. If you remember that the worst thing anyone can do to another being is to destroy the physical part, then you will realize that the immortal part of you is invincible. Curses are part of darkness and the light is stronger than darkness, but if you fear, if you believe that such an evil can harm you, then you are opening the door. Do you understand? You are allowing it to impinge upon you, to enter the field of your aura, to unbalance both your physical and your spiritual life. Those who walk in fear, suffer again and again, but those who hold the light within themselves can never be harmed. And if you feel the shadow of evil upon you, then all you have to do is say: in the name of the light, in the name of God, leave me, I will not indulge your presence.
The Balance of Nature
Question: You spoke earlier about upsetting the balance of nature. Are we not by domesticating animals for instance, and worse still by neutering them, upsetting the balance of nature and are we even by feeding wild birds also upsetting the balance of nature.
The balance has already been upset my brother. What is so wrong is that man is intolerant of anything which disturbs his own pattern of life. You have bred cattle, pigs, sheep for your own use. You then take their lives, you send them horrifically to the world of spirit. It has been said that if we did not kill them we would be overrun, but you would not, because left to themselves they would not propagate in those vast numbers. Do you understand? You destroy insects, you spray your crops with poisonous substances. Bird-life, through this is destroyed because they eat the seed, the predators who prey on them also will lose their lives, and then perhaps, as has happened because you have destroyed that, those creatures which would balance out each others numbers, do you understand? You will get a plague of something which will destroy the green of earth and you have nothing which will combat it, and therefore you create a desert. What is so wrong, is that man without thought or reason - true reasons except selfish reasons, destroys without considering the consequences.
Man needs to learn not merely how to live off the rest of creation but to live in harmony with it. The balance needs to be restored but, as you say: by feeding wild birds you are destroying the balance of nature. Not really, because again this is helping each other. When we speak of assisting, of assisting for instance those in other countries who are starving, that would include not merely man, but an life. This planet has sufficient to support all that dwell upon it, if what was given by the God Spirit was used wisely. Do you understand? But it is not; you eat flesh which takes up far more of your land to produce, than do pulses and. cereals, which have a far greater value as food. You hoard, you do not share. Jesus the Nazarene told a parable of sharing and it is written that he fed a multitude with a few loaves and a few fishes. This was in fact symbolic, it was the symbol of sharing. If man became aware of the needs of others, both physical and spiritual, there would be enough for all. If he realized that many of the creatures that he feels do him harm, have as much right to life as does man, for they too move along the pathway of spirit. They too will evolve, they too are seeking to perfect themselves, to move on to the next form of life. Harmony in all things is necessary, and until man realizes this, until he seeks to improve the quality of life not only of man, but of the animal kingdom also, then this imbalance will remain.
It is possible for animals to live alongside man; you speak of domestication. This in itself does not destroy balance, but man should learn to live alongside these creatures to realize that they should be friends. The mutilation which he perpetrates is not for the good of those creatures but for himself, and this as you so wisely put it, is wrong. Left to themselves animals would not overrun earth; nature has its own way of limiting reproduction. In planets, on planets where the life forms have realized this already, there is a mutual support between all the forms of life, a mutual love and a desire to be at one. Not only with the God Spirit, but with the universe. It is this understanding towards which man must strive.
Anxiety and Panic
Question: What is the best way to treat someone who is suffering from anxiety and panic attacks, and what is the cause of such attacks.
The causes are many and varied as you must know, because every being is an individual, and this kind of mental condition will vary from one patient to the next. Did you understand? It is often the outward sign of inner stress, it is the minds way of saying: I can bear no more. Do you understand me? Each individual must be treated as such, you must delve within the mind for the cause. Sometimes it can be triggered by a particular physical circumstance. The fear of being enclosed, the fear of open spaces, the fear of other human beings, the fear of a particular animal; all these things will create panic. Do you understand? For those who would heal, it is necessary - if they are clairvoyant - to look within the aura. Do you understand me? If not, to ask of those on this side of life who are working through them. Do you understand? To clarify the reason, the cause for this particular individual. As you will know because you have spoken with Medicine man and his band of healers; the healers on this side do not treat merely the symptoms and this is why sometimes when a healer will go to one particular part of the body, the patient will feel that it is not there I feel the pain, it is here or here, but the stem, the root cause may be here. Do you follow me? But I can only generalize, and therefore I say to you ask your own helpers for each individual patient. No doubt at our next circle you will ask whoever comes.

Epilogue
It is always a pleasure to be with you. We enjoy your company and hope that you too have enjoyed - well, mine at this present moment, but - ours. It is a mutual gain, for we learn as much from your thoughts and your questions as you do hopefully from our replies. And now my friends, I will close with a prayer to the God Spirit.
O Spirit of Life and of Light, illumine the minds and the hearts, the souls of all mankind, and for those who have chosen the pathway of light, let that light be there for them whatever their problems, whatever their trials. For we know that life upon earth is a road trodden with difficulty, that doubts assail each one of us and that it is with great difficulty that faith is held always. Let the messengers of fight be with those who seek for truth. May truth and wisdom open within their minds and within their hearts as the lotus opens to the light of the moon and of the sun. It is to us a symbol of light, a symbol of power. May the light which ever shed itself upon earth, upon the hearts of men, be there for all Thy children who dwell this day upon earth. May the sun continue to shine and the rain to fall upon earth, that it may be fruitful and multiply, that man may reap the benefit of Your bounty and may each and every one become aware of Your presence. May they look upon the face of earth with love and with compassion and may they be stirred to carry Thy word and Thy light into the hearts of every fellow being who has need of them. May they go forth with courage, and may this earth recognize their work and their truth. May Your blessing go with them always and may they be aware of Thy will and Thy hand in all they say and do and feel. May Your presence be manifest within them and Your power and Your glory for all time.
