“St. Ives View”, which sleeps 4/6, is situated near the end of a private road with no through traffic which makes for a peaceful and relaxed holiday. Access to the house is down a few steps with parking for two cars at the top (please ask if you need parking for more than two cars). This was a family home and is still equipped as such. You are welcome to use all the facilities and equipment apart from 2 rooms which are kept locked. The large detached house has a very unusual reverse layout being on three levels all accessed by quite narrow stairs.
The accommodation consists of a large lounge on the top floor with picture windows and door to balcony with spectacular views of the village, beach, cliffs and sea. It is comfortably furnished with sofa, chairs, a double bed settee, television, vcr and dvd player. Also on this level is the small bedroom with 2 single beds.
On the middle level is a toilet with wc and wash-hand basin. The kitchen, which is fully equipped with full size electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and all utensils. Adjoining the kitchen and up a small flight of stairs is the dining area with pine table, chairs and dresser.
On the lower level is the main bedroom with double bed. From this room is a door which leads into the long narrow conservatory. From the conservatory is a door to the garden. Also on the lower level is the bathroom with electric shower over bath, wash-hand basin and wc. All duvets and pillows are provided but please bring your own duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases and towels. (Beds MUST NOT be used without bed linen). There is a washing machine in the garage if you need it.
The night storage heating and all other electric is included in the hire charge.
Pets are not permitted in St. Ives View. We also ask you NOT to smoke in the house.
