Equipment to be carried O.S map 147. Compass, torch that works, whistle, bivvy/survival bag, basic first aid kit, waterproofs, emergency food, warm hat, gloves and sensible footwear preferably with ankle support. Kit check at start. Entrants walking together in pairs or groups need not carry all of the above equipment individually.
Certificates Certificates awarded to all walkers completing their stated distance on foot, with route card verifying this.
