1 Walkers must check in at the controls in the correct numerical order.
2. The walk will be controlled from H.Q. at the
finish.
3. Walkers wishing to retire should do so at a manned
checkpoint, handing their route check card to a Marshall.
4. The organiser reserves the right to:
a) Refuse any entry and require entrants
to retire for any reason but especially on the grounds of safety.
b) Postpone the walk if weather
conditions justify such action.
c) Disqualify any entrant infringing the country code or taking short-cuts over fences, hedges, walls and farmland.
5. Any profits will be used to
promote future events.
6. This event conforms to the Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations 1996 and provides Public Liability Insurance Cover. It is open to persons aged 18 or over on the day of the walk. Persons aged between 16 and 18 may enter but must be accompanied on the event by a parent or guardian (whose signature is required on the entry form).
7. Walkers taking part in this event do so at their own risk. The organiser cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, injury or damage suffered by any person participating in this event, nor for any injury or financial loss sustained in the event that the walk is cancelled.
