Anacreon~ is a symmetrical balanced cable with 2/0.6mm Extra High Purity Silver conductors (99.99% purity) per channel, individually coated with PTFE. and a pure Silver plated copper braided screen. A High Purity Copper clad Silver plated conductor enclosed within PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), a material used increasingly in critical applications such as the military or aerospace, yet, still as you know only rarely in Hi-Fi cables. It is both difficult and expensive to work with but it has a very low dissipative factor (DF) and the lowest dielectric absorbtion (DA) of any material available. Ideal for long runs between pre/power amps or Nicam VCR/Amp. What you get is a cable capable of clarity and signal integrity over even very long distances. Both channels are individually screened to a low noise specification and with a braided Linear Crystal-Oxygen Free Copper (LC-OFC). Designed to achieve excellent RF rejection, very low capacitance and low noise. Not even the former KGB could have interfered with this cable. The central conductor is LC-OFC with foamed Polyethylene.
