Candour powercord cable reduces the impedance on the mains and is screened for RFI, greatly reducing the mains noise floor. It is a three core power cord conductor made from High Conductivity Copper and a Copper braid to screen out RFI and EMI. Rated at 10Amps at 230Volts with a cross sectional area of 1.0mm2. Candour powercord is available either unterminated or with a non-magnetic MK mains plug (silver plated fuse and fuse holder) or with a 3 pin US mains plug and five different terminations. As you can imagine, this powercord is also ideally suited to the supply of power to computer equipment as its screening prevents noise from damaging sensitive circuits- said to be a major cause of computer failure. Additionally, Candour power cord exhibits significantly lower EMP (electro-magnetic pollution), which is closely linked to cancers and other cell damage.

All contacts are treated with Cap18. This means that the contacts are chemically clean and conductively enhanced. Contaminated contacts act as points for RF breakthrough- the more contaminated they are the greater the noise. You should treat all your contacts every three months to maintain integrity.
