More Old Codgers' Trips!

Following upon the success of the trip to Burton-on-Trent, several more Old Codgers' Trips by rail have been enjoyed by stalwarts of Tewkesbury sub-Branch. The story so far:

7 September 2005: DERBY - visiting the Smithfield, the Brunswick Inn and the Alexandra Hotel.

The Smithfield

The Smithfield - our first port of call in Derby, a short taxi ride from the station

The Brunswick

The Brunswick Inn, Derby - a dozen fine ales to choose from!

Bromsgrove Station

There was even time to stop off for a pint of Batham's Best at the Ladybird in Bromsgrove on the homeward journey!
Here, the happy crew await the Worcester train at Bromsgrove Station.
Even the cameraman contrived to get into this picture. (Nice one, Pete!)
And the bloke in the background - whatever he's doing - is NOT one of our party!!

4 October 2005: WALSALL - visiting the Walsall Arms, the Victoria, the White Lion and the Rose and Crown.

A short 'cultural' visit to the New Art Gallery in Walsall was also included!
