Welcome to Barford Pre-school
We aim to provide a happy and caring atmosphere within our Pre-School, encouraging
each child to develop at his or her own rate through play.
We are registered to take children from 2 years 6 months to 5 years of age, and have
a total of 26 places.
We offer morning sessions on Monday and Tuesday and school day sessions on Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday. We offer lunch-club facilities Tuesday to Friday. You can
choose morning, afternoon or all day sessions, depending on availability (minimum
2 sessions).
We have 3 members of staff, 2 of whom are fully qualified with NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
and Education. All the team are CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked.
Barford Pre-School is a registered charity (No: 1022936) and is run by a voluntary
management committee. We actively welcome any parent or carer that wishes to join
the committee and or help with our fundraising efforts.
We were last OFSTED inspected in 2007 and are a member of the ‘Pre-School Learning
Alliance’ and ‘Investors in Children’.
Pre-School is currently situated at the memorial hall (next to the village shop),
where we offer a safe and secure environment for your child. However, we will be
moving to purpose built facilities at the Primary school in September 2010.
