Caroline Ireland Management presents:
Master Classes in Snowdonia
Bernard Roberts, who was for many years a Professor at the Royal College of Music in London, offers tuition at his home near Harlech in North Wales. His experience in performance and teaching of solo and chamber music repertoire is immense and has been acknowledged for many years both here and abroad.

The opportunity exists for intensive tuition for the young professional, but the enthusiastic amateur is also welcome as are chamber groups. Small groups of up to four pianists are welcome to come at the same time and can then benefit from their own lesson and also from listening to those of others. Our music room has two Steinway pianos.

Set in one of the most beautiful areas of the Snowdonia National Park our house is possibly the oldest inhabited dwelling in Merioneth, the original part dating from 1587. The "new" parlour wing dates from 1654 and has historical associations with Colonel John Jones the Regicide, who was brother-in-law to Oliver Cromwell.

For non-participating friends and partners there is a magnificent golf-course at Harlech, wonderfully wild hill walking in the Rhinog mountains immediately behind the house and miles of quiet sandy beaches along the coast of Cardigan Bay.

Tea, coffee and lunch are provided during the day and overnight accommodation can be arranged locally in farmhouse B & B's, small hotels or guesthouses.
