Recruiting drive gets under way
Castle Point Racing is stepping up it's recruiting drive. If you already race in "the GP2 Championship" then you are most welcome to join us. However, unlike most other teams in the league we are NOT actively seeking to poach other teams' drivers - instead we prefer a recruiting policy that seeks to bring new drivers into the league from outside

Debute season results ...
Final results have been confirmed, completing Castle Point Racing's debute season in world competitiion racing - we've made second place in the team league. Castle Point Racing fielded only two drivers, both in mid-class "F1600" league. Overall the team scored a season total of 1023 points, closing the gap on league victors, the home team, TEAR-FATL.
If only we didn't have that disaster at Brands Hatch ....
Both drivers finished in the top six overall, Robert managing 3rd place, and Steve trailing in 6th.

Every cloud has a silver lining ...
Looks like a cloud is hovering over the TEAR garage at the Tunnel Track, which can only mean a silver lining for CPR. Both our drivers in F1600 have grid positions ahead of the TEAR boys. Why is this important? Because TEAR is the only team standing between CPR and a debute league victory!

Disaster for Castlepoint Racing at Brands Hatch.
Both cars in the GP2 Championship F1600 race, ran out of the race five laps short! "We just got the race length wrong" said race engineers. "We all thought we'd checked it, so no one questioned the setups".
The drivers were devastated by the results "We put a lot of work into perfecting this race, but now it's all for naught". Management commented, "We hope this is one lesson we learn from!"
Observers note; it's a good job so few other drivers made the start - at least the team scored something.
