A strictly qualified
recommendation only! This is far from being a balanced point of view, but
is recommended for its many valuable quotes. And, of course, there is the
possibility that Bjerknes could be right.
Perhaps, after all, Einstein did achieve next to nothing after
his divorce from his wife in 1919, and it is undeniable that virtually all of his
work on relativity was plagiarised. I
did find one quote, though, that I do not think he should have included. It is the one given pride of place, at the
head of the list on the front cover. It
came from "anonymous email" and so is not to be trusted.
