Based on remains found in the Sutton Hoo Ship Burial this ancient 6 string Harp/Lyre is available now.  The anglo-saxon harpa produces a surprisingly loud sound for its size and it's unusual nature makes it interesting for re-enactors and musicians of all types. This instrument has a hollowed out soundbox and is made from a solid block of wood. It is also available with rounded top and base as found in the Prittlewell, Southend Burial
