Just for a change, this is one of 2 Tiger heads painted in 1988 for No 230 (Tiger) Squadron Royal Air Force. The panels are interchangeable and have been seen at airshows across Europe on several different host aircraft. The panel was painted in enamel model paint which dries very hard. I also designed the paint scheme depicted below which was painted by the spray bay at RAF Gutersloh. A similar tiger head is on this nose that was painted by Mrs Palmer along identical lines to the original two.
