Welcome to the Lighthouse
"The Lighthouse",
The Lighthouse was set up in 1987 by Christians in the area, representing all the local churches. It is a Christian centre providing, through the sale of Books, Cards and Christian Resources the opportunity to spread Christian ideas into the community and in the Coffee Shop, a friendly and caring atmosphere. Why a Lighthouse in landlocked Cupar? Jesus said: "I am the light of the world" The Lighthouse Coffee Shop and Christian Resource Centre is here to bear witness to this light. Along with some paid staff, we are grateful to volunteers from the Churches who willingly give their time to run this enterprise. Christians of all denominations work together to help spread the good news of the "light of the world" to this area.
