Kirkcaldy RMS is one of the oldest recorded music societies in Scotland. It evolved from the Nairn Gramophone Society which was a gramophone society set up for the employees of Michael Nairn & Co. Ltd., the famous Kirkcaldy-based linoleum manufacturers. Kirkcaldy RMS is affiliated to the Federation of Recorded Music Societies and the Federation of Recorded Music Societies - Scottish Group.
The Society meets fortnightly on Saturdays from October to April every year in St.Bryce Kirk Centre, St.Brycedale Avenue, Kirkcaldy KY1 1ET. The meetings start at 7.30pm and go on until 9.45pm. All are welcome to our meetings to share in our enjoyment of classical music in a friendly environment. For further details please contact the Hon.Secretary, Jean Peddie, 2 Findhorn Place, Kirkcaldy KY2 6RN; Tel: 01592-266588.
