Les Contamines is a true Alpine village nestling at the foot of the Mont Blanc massif. It is famed for the quality of its skiing and snow record, and treasured for its beauty and ideal situation at the edge of a wonderful nature reserve. Les Contamines is still a working farming village, where traditional crafts are practised hand in hand with the tourist industry.
Les Contamines is situated only 10 miles from the Autoroute Blanche motorway, 50 miles from Geneva and 25 miles from Chamonix. You can travel from the North West of England almost door-to-door by motorway, or saunter through the French countryside. Alternatively, fly in to Geneva, or take the high speed TGV train.
Most people know Les Contamines for the wonderful skiing; but Contamines is a beautiful place to visit whatever the season, whether you are skiing, mountain walking, or simply enjoying the beauty of the village and nature.
