WHO WE ARE

Down to Earth Computing is a small company founded by Chris Lewis, a Chartered Electrical Engineer with a background in aviation and flight simulation, having been the head of RAF flight simulator support services.

The company objective is to provide affordable and straightforward solutions to problems associated with Information Technology. We provide a personal service on the customer's site designed to minimise time away from the job.

WHAT WE DO

We will provide one to one training in the common commercial software packages. Including, among others:

• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel
• Lotus AmiPro
• Lotus 123
• Supercalc
• WordPerfect
• WordStar
• Quick Books
• Quicken Accounts
• Serif Page Plus

We will design specialised spreadsheets to suit customer's requirements in Lotus123, Excel or Supercalc(DOS). Often a quicker, more cost effective solution than training individual staff to this depth.

We will supply new or used equipment, install upgrades and carry out repairs to board level.

We will install and configure your software and set up small networks.

We will back up your valuable data to CD to give you a permanent record.

WHAT WE WON'T DO

• We won't try and baffle you with science
• We won't persuade you to spend more money than you need on the latest technology.
• We won't make you feel totally inadequate in computing matters.
• We won't present you with an unexpectedly large bill for our services.
