Daffodils
To end on a brighter note, the bulbs planted around the village last autumn are at last beginning to poke through.  Spring is just around the corner!

Muddy Roads
The parish council has received complaints about the state of The Street and Carbrooke Road, caused by excessive mud on the roads. Obviously the weather conditions over recent months have a lot to do with this, but it is also the responsibility of farmers to clear up daily any muddy conditions they may be responsible for. We have written to the farmers concerned and can only hope they will do all they can to alleviate the problem.  The B.D.C. Service Team has actually been through once in recent weeks and swept the roads, which did make a big difference.  It's a pity they don't come more often.
