Here are a couple of scanned pictures; some may have slow down-load times, but what the heck I am just experimenting!

This first section has been a bit of fun for me; putting a few images into the computer, and talking up large amounts of hard drive.

Most of the pictures are taken locally, and I am not using expensive equipment, the camera is just a compact 'point and press' type. (Still 35 mm film, I will have to save up for a digital!!). I took these because I like the colour and texture of the trees.

Some links may be a bit slow, the biggest download usually comes up within a minute. That's with V90 modem and a good connection speed.

Hope there aren't too many looped links I got confused myself.

Not many fish in the stream but..............at least the sun was shining.

These pictures have been scanned with a Mustek ScanExpress 12000SP, the original prints were taken on an inexpensive compact camera.

The images are much reduced both in size and the number of colours, I am still trying to get to grips with retaining quality of image but also give a reasonable download speed.
