Initial Layout

4 x 12 volt Hawker Energy Batteries
4 x 24 volt Series Wound Motors
4 x Solid Rubber 8" Wheels.

3 Batteries, 3 Motors, 3 Wheels.

Layout on Template

The base plate will be flame cut from 8 mil steel.

The robot will be 100 mil thick, 850 mil dia.

The Base-plate

The base is cut from 8 mil chequer plate,
with a stainless steel tip bolted to it.

Rolling Chassis

The motors are mounted.

U Bolts hold them to the base plate

Close up.

Don't stand there !

Batteries are mounted and ready to fly !
The Steel Hoop has arrived.

The hoop is 800 x 100 x 3 mil.

The hoop is tack welded to the base.

There will have to be cut-outs for the wheels.

The claw has been removed as it would
have affected the balance of the robot.

Cutters will be added after testing.

The cut-outs have been made and the wheels,
motors and batteries remounted.
