Final Adjustments.

The second gearbox arrived the day before the Dome.

The vibration shook all non-locking nuts loose.

A large quantity of Nut-Lock was used.

The servos were trimmed and we were ready to race.

This was our main challenger.

An all together more complex robot, very impressive.

20 h.p. engine, 8 rams, processor controlled.

To the race.

The two robots on their trolleys being pushed to the race way.

They were not allowed in the Dome due to their petrol engines.

Back home.

The finished robot asit was unloaded from the trailer,

after returningfrom the Dome.

Leg Mechanism.

Centre leg is on a crank,with con rods

to the front and back legs. Both sides are identical.

Top View.

Petrol engine drives both gear boxes which drive each

centre leg's crank thro a 2:1 reduction onthe twin vee belt.
