Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
Our course for HACCP is normally 2 days in length and covers topics ranging from the development of the system in the industry to it's practical implementation. It forms a strong point from which to commence HACCP studies, or alternatively to train additional members of your HACCP team.
The course is made as interactive as possible, with workgroups forming an important part. The course can be tailored to suit the needs of various delegate profiles, ranging from key managers to the shop floor operative who 'owns' a critical control.
Where time is limited there is an abridged version that is delivered over one day. This is intensive but does give the opportunity to take away the clear principles and techniques used in constructing a good HACCP study.
The courses both embrace the Codex approach and have been used to train a wide range of people from all sectors of the UK food industry.
Auditing (Quality and Food Safety Systems)
Again, normally a 2 day course, this embraces planning an approach to a formal audit through to the reporting of the results.
The techniques used by the auditor in documentary review and the physical audit are important aspects. The auditing requirement is approached either from the perspective of an internal auditor or as an external auditor of suppliers. This course also embraces the use of interactive workshops.
Again an abridged version of this is available to last 1 day.
General
The optimum group size for any of these courses is approximately 12 people, this allows effective workgroup use. The course can be presented at your premises or at a suitable local external venue.
We also are able to arrange courses through the year at various independent venues in the UK. Dates can be supplied on request.
