GEORGE HOBSON Born on the 14th August 1852 in Sheffield. The son of Sydney and Ann Hobson. George married Mary Ann Crew on the 24th November 1874 at Christ Church in the Parish of Pitsmoor, York. George spent his life in the Sheffield area working as a Fork Grinder having served as an Apprentice to Thomas Oxley. George died in Sheffield on the 4th February 1921.
