There have been three alleged sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects and one reported alleged Alien Abduction in the locality of Church Crookham in Hampshire.

The first recorded incident happened early in the morning of the 26th October 1967 on the A.32 road at nearby Hook, a mini - bus being driven by a Mr. W. Collet, began to misbehave, with the vehicle's radio and electrical equipment failing. Eventually, the van stopped and Mr. Collet got out and began to look under the bonnet for any obvious faults. It was then that he first noticed a dark shape hovering in front of him. 

When the engine re-started, Mr Collet was able to carry on his journey, but only to have the same failure further along the road. He again got out of the vehicle, but this time felt a pressure change and his eardrums became painful. There was also a smell of burning. 

Looking up, Mr Collet again observed the dark shape, which  he describes as being about 50 feet high, until it flew away. The mini-bus was then re-started again, and Mr Collet was able to continue his journey..
